AI products break the usual request and response rhythm of a web interface. A model call can take eight seconds. If your UI shows a spinner for eight seconds, users assume it hung. Stream the tokens instead, even if you have to fake the smoothness a little at the edges, because partial output tells someone the system is alive and gives them something to read while they wait. If you cannot stream, show intermediate state, such as which tool the agent is calling right now, rather than an undifferentiated loader.
Empty states are where most AI SaaS interfaces fail. A blank chat box with a blinking cursor is a test the user did not study for. They do not know what the model can do, so they type something trivial, get a mediocre answer and leave. Seed the empty state with three or four real prompts drawn from what your best users actually ask, make them clickable, and rotate them as you learn more. The same applies to your landing page hero: show a concrete input and its output rather than an abstract diagram of your pipeline.
Be honest about the limits, on the marketing page and in the product. Say what the model gets wrong and where a human should check its output before it ships. This feels like it costs you signups. In practice it costs you refunds and support threads, and the buyers you lose were the ones who would have churned in week two. A short accuracy note next to a confident claim reads as competence, not weakness.
On the commercial side, usage-based pricing is hard to render in a table. If you charge per token, per run or per seat plus overage, show a small calculator or at least a worked example with real numbers, because a buyer who cannot estimate their bill will not enter a card. Nodus and the AI SaaS template both give you pricing sections with enough room to add that explanation instead of forcing everything into three columns of feature bullets.
Nodus is the closest fit, since it is written around agents and chatbots and leans minimal so your own product screenshots carry the page. Agenforce is the alternative if you need more surface area for services, use cases and micro-interactions.
No. They are marketing and landing page templates, so you get hero, feature, pricing and testimonial sections rather than a working chat UI wired to a model. You bring the application and connect your own API routes.
Show the unit you actually bill on, then give one worked example of a typical month. If your pricing is usage based, a small estimator does more for conversion than a longer feature list, because the objection you are answering is uncertainty about the bill.
Yes, they are Next.js projects using the App Router with Tailwind CSS and Motion for animation. Server components are used for static content and client components are marked where interactivity or animation requires it.
